1. Data Analysts

According to the report the demand for data analysts is expected to grow exponentially as the need to manage information becomes more urgent in the market place

3. Architects and engineers

These jobs will remain stable. More specifically, “there will be growth for engineers focusing on biochemicals, nanotechology, robotics and materials”.

4. Specialized sales people

Do you love selling? If you want to grow in your career you will need to be able to accurately explain what the company offers. “A digital media company would want to hire sales people who are knowledgeable of the ins and outs of mobile advertising.” This skill will be required for all sales people, whether you work with businesses, government or consumers.

5. Senior managers

As work formats and job roles change so does the demand for a new type of senior manager. In future companies will need people who understand workplace challenges and are able to lead people through “periods of transformation”.

6. Product designers

“One of the top skills that will be in demand by 2020 is creativity.” While many jobs will become automated, creative jobs will still need to be performed by people.

7. Human Resources specialists

There is a growing focus on skills development in the workplace. Training employees will become even more crucial in future. For this to happen companies will need competent HR officers and organisational development specialists.

8. Government relations experts

With so many changes taking place companies will need employees who know the legal issues surrounding organisational products or services.
